We have enjoyed having a backyard. The kids love all the extra play areas we have from more spacious rooms, to the backyard to the garage. Although Cohen stated the other day, "I miss Texas." We asked him why and his response was, "This house is too big." I guess he liked being able to find everyone a lot quicker. I have noticed his volume has increased as he tries to summon someone. I didn't think his volume could go any louder. I have been proven wrong.
I always love the gesture of the kids bringing me a flower they picked. I have had an upgrade from dandelions to some Arizona flowers added to my kitchen. Although, I don't think it was necessary for this flower's survival to be submerged in water like Texas flowers. I am sure it doesn't see this much water very often. I am learning that we are in Monsoon season...hmmm, we will see what that is like.

Although we didn"t see you much when you were in Texas I seem to miss you even more now that you are even further away.
