Great State of Texas

One of the Great things we miss about Texas,  my grandparents and the kiddos GREAT Grandparents, Papa Dan and Mama Mary.  I have been thinking about them a lot.
Teague and Papa Dan looking out on the land at my Dad and Carolyn's house over Christmas break.

Just before sending them off after an enjoyable dinner over the Christmas break.

Mama Mary with Kennedy and baby Teague (who turns 3 on Sunday?!) just before we left Texas for Arizona.

We miss you Papa Dan and Mama Mary.  It has been too long since we have been out to visit the farm and spent some good times over a delicious home cooked meal by Mama Mary.  Great memories that I haven't been able to give my kids: climbing and hiding in the bales of hay, running in the hay racks, four wheeling, fishing at the catfish pond, shooting cans, cabin and games, picking blackberries, shelling peas, chili, "herding" the cattle, just romping around the endless acres of freedom and letting us be ourselves in the most adventurous way possible.  We love you!

I think the kiddos will be able to spend some time next weekend with their only other living great-grandparent, Abuelito Miguel.  Fun!
