I don't think I am copying this recipe. My sister-in-law introduced me to cake cookies. I try not to make them too often, because they are so easy to make and eat a bunch! Especially since I caught onto Santa's cookies and milk craving. First pregnancy craving besides popsicles and watermelon. Might be a very round baby or mama when April rolls around. I had an extra Red Velvet cake mix, so I thought I would try something...just in time for Valentine's Day. There are several Cake Mix Cookie recipes. If you have one you use, just add the white chocolate morsels and the pecans. Here is the recipe I use.
1 Red Velvet Cake Mix
1/3 cup veg. oil
2 eggs
1 cup white chocolate chip morsels
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix oil and eggs together. Add cake mix and blend. Stir in chips and pecans. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Completely cool on wire rack or wax paper. Yummy red cookies to enjoy!
I would add a picture, but this post might not get posted until well after Valentine's Day. Maybe this will help with school functions or a festive touch to your treats.
Happy Valentines Day!
