A Little Bubbly

Sorry for the wait.  My last post was the disturbing fancy pants picture.

This is what I imagined when I saw those pants:

(She was not so willing for this photo shoot. She does love her skirt.)
A bubble skirt.  I didn't take in the sides as much as I needed.  I thought it would add to poof value.  I think it would be better had I taken it in some.  It seems to be working better since I washed it.  She loves it and picks it out to wear if it is clean.  I will probably be making more of these.  So easy...no hem makes it so nice!  I am enjoying sewing for the kiddos while they still let me.  Cohen has been begging for a few more items sewn by mom.  I am trying to find more I can make for him.  I have also enjoyed trying to repurpose some clothes (it is better for the budget).  A challenge I have taken head on and loving it!

P.S.  Not usually a fan of quoted tees, but this was on the clearance rack and serves a match to her little outfit and frankly...her personality.  She loves fashion!  She wants to try on and shop for clothes all the time.
