We loved Spain, but would love to have our bags!!!!

I planned on catching up on some blogging...nope I am on hold for the hundredth time as to where our bags are. Do I really have to go buy all new make-up or underwear! Long story short...I think, depends on how long I am on hold. We were supposed to
arrive in TEXAS Friday night/Saturday morning, 1215AM. Due to several factors including: a plane change, the Queen of England, a person running out on the tar mat with suspicious bags, Galloways that can't run fastest enough through the London, Heathrow airport with breakable souvenirs and a broken pair of shoes...hmmm, we missed our flight. This gave us a free night in London, free food too! We tried to go standby as much as possible. By this point we could care less about anything but seeing our kiddos. We were beyond the fact that we had been in the same clothes for 40 plus hours and hadn't slept in 20 plus hours since we landed in Austin at 830PM Saturday...home by 1130PM....without our bags!

We were told we would get them between midnight and noon Sunday. Slept by the phone...no call. Got in contact with a representative...they are still in LONDON!!!! Not even through customs yet. Here we are Tuesday night. It was supposedly in Austin last night/early this morning @1:15AM. The delivery person left us a message at that time. I called all day trying to get in touch with him. He answered and said they usually expedite the bags that come in and don't get delivered. Why wasn't it delivered...because he tried to contact me, but couldn't...you are right, I was asleep. Apparently jet lag isn't enough, I am not supposed to sleep until the bags are here. Austin delivery man says they are on to Killeen. I finally get in touch with Killeen, they have no bags, absolutely no bags to even look through to find ours. Where are they now? In the great baggage claim hole? Great souvenirs, hygiene, dungarees, shoes, in that hole somewhere. The kids have been praying for the bags, because they know their surprises are in there. We are close....but it is almost Wednesday, how close does it have to be?

Okay, been on hold for 30 minutes, I have hung up a few times and tried again for the past hour and fifteen minutes. I am going back to the numbers in Killeen and Austin where I talked to people.

I am including some pictures of the adorable blessings we missed so much. I will be posting pics and blogs from the wonderful trip in Spain.
