My Very Pink Projects

Here are a couple more projects I have tried to hurry and finish before baby comes! Way back in September I had auctioned my service to sew an apron. Finally! I did it. I made it for a dear friend, so I debated on taking her with me to pick everything out or surprise her. I finally picked out the pattern and material...David didn't believe I was at the same fabric store the entire time. He thought I had run away...left the cell phone at home too! Well this is what I found. I didn't buy too much fabric either. I did have enough for a baby dress...just barely. Here is the apron! I will have to make one for myself now. Well after I am not prego. I would have modeled it for a better shot, but it looked a little silly.

She likes to have a towel on her apron, so I made a loop to hang the towel. I also appliqued some of the material onto one of the towels to match. No picture, that was last minute...and you have seen enough pink already!

Here is the baby dress! My nieces are getting the raw end of the deal. I have every intention of making them dresses, but haven't planned well enough. I need to get their sizes...or just make them big enough to grow into eventually. We just received a baby announcement from a friend of David's. Her timing was just right when I was working on the apron.

Very neat. you are just getting better and better from project to project. I wish I was that "dear friend" of yours, haha, the apron looks very cute and love the idea that you can hang the towel on it also.

p.s. I can't believe it's almost time to meet your little guy! :)

She is going to love it! With as much time as she spends in the kitchen, she will get so much benefit from your service and she'll think about you every time she wears it. I am blown away by what you can do. I can't wait to see the Easter dresses.

The apron and dresses are adorable. I can't believe you were able to do that while being pregnant and having 3 other kids! U= Amazing.
