Flashback to Halloween

I sent a witch and Batman to school.
 I enjoyed the classroom parties.
Cute kiddos!  Cohen and his table.
Taylin and her friend at the witches brew.
Love it!

Since his froggy costume was too big (fit Kennedy), we tried a few out.  Teague wasn't a fan of the clown.  Well the first 2 minutes and then it was time to pull it off.  I even tried Kennedy, but she didn't want to be a clown.  We went through several costume options for the two little ones.  This clown costume was from my childhood.
My mom made it for Uncle Ryan.

Final result= Cowboy...most like clothes he is used to.

The Galloway gang in assorted Halloween apparel.  Kennedy ended up being a bat.  Easy!  A pair of wings from my trusty childhood costume box.  She had bat ears, but that was too much to ask.  Good thing we didn't trick-or-treat in the dark.  Lots of black!
We attended the school "Harvest Scream" and enjoyed it much more than last year.  It wasn't pitch black!  The kids enjoyed watching their principal get drenched in Sundae toppings because they met a fundraiser goal.  Last year he ate a cockroach.  Kennedy was so concerned about him and was anxious  for him to get cleaned up.
That weekend we all enjoyed some trunk-or-treating at the church.  (The painted on mask was due to no masks allowed).  I followed the kiddos which was fine. Except Teague was more interested in speed.  High heels aren't very fast and not great for grassy terrain.  They were all pleased with their loot and it wasn't too daunting for mom and dad either.
David went the Ghostbuster route and put together his pack.  He did a great job!  I was impressed with the time he had on his hands to do it.  We also reused Cohen's beloved robot.  So I went as Janine Melnitz.  It was a fun year and less stressful.  I still enjoyed sewing one costume (Taylin's skirt and cape).  The rest just involved gathering articles of clothing.  Thank you Goodwill and friends.  Good times!
