Taylin's Sweet Notes

Taylin never ceases to amaze us with her compassionate heart.  Recently her teacher was out for a week.  The students learned a little each day throughout the week went on as to the reason for her absence.  Her teacher's mother was killed in a car accident.  Just heartbreaking!  The kids were so sweet and worried about her.  They made her cards for when she returned.  Taylin wrote in her card that her teacher was, "{Their} Owl of Wisdom."  She makes me smile and I am sure she made her teacher smile too.
A few days later she decided to write the missionaries a letter/card.  She drew a picture with two missionaries with backpacks on and her.  She had them all hand-in-hand (yes, we know this is not allowed in real life...the holding hands bit.).  They were walking towards a mountain.  I love that my children know what a mountain is.  They used to refer to a hill as a mountain.  She wrote a letter and then titled the picture, "Climb That Mountain."  Where does she come up with this?!

She makes us smile with her big heart and great thoughts.
