I have a great challenge this year. Cohen wants a motorcycle cake. I stumbled on this UTube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_vTKfRYOHY
Not going to pull it off, maybe an idea or two. If it is this big...you all are invited to eat it!

I have venutured out to find how many people love their dolls. The story begins with a doll from my childhood ( I think I was 14 when I recieved Kirsten as a gift). I handed down to Taylin. She is a little young for an American Doll (the recommended age is 8.). She loved her soooo much and wanted Kirsten by her side even when she was sick, so Kirsten was loved with some sickness (I will leave the details to Taylin.) Her hair needed a cleaning. Her hair was already a mess. The cleaning smelled good, but looks were rugged. I then ripped off her wig/hair thinking I could order or find some hair at the store. Boy was I wrong.
My search began. I found several doll hospitals...amazing what they can repair and how much people love their dolls! I tried to avoid sending Kirsten back to American Doll...pricey...and Taylin is 4! Anywhere ended up being pricey with shipping, so we prepared Kirsten for her stay at the American Doll Hospital. It was actually sad. Due to the expense already, I wasn't going to buy a special box for an 18 inch doll. I use a shoe box...unfortunately I couldn't find someone with an 18 inch foot, or fortunately. So Kirsten was showing her flexability as she was folded in half to fit. To make the package even more interesting and save more money. I wrapped the shoe box in butcher paper that Taylin had traced her body. We faced that part in, but still...somebody was going to see it. On top of that, the label was a little mangled by Kennedy and the kids helped with taping. I am sure the doll hospital thought they would be seeing Kirsten again. Humor me!
Taylin invited some friends over to welcome her home and eat cake. The boys were kind to participate in the event. They weren't sure why they were here, but they got cake! Kirsten is back with a gown, a hospital bracelet, a balloon, a certificate of health, a cleaning...oh and not only new hair, but a new head!
